On the 26th of March 2010 Jos Stelling was granted with the title of Honourable Professor of the University of Yerevan. The certificate was given by the rector, Rahrachya Gasparyan:

'to award the world-known filmmaker JOS STELLING with the Title of HONOURABLE PROFESSOR of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, according to the solution N04 of the Institute Scientific Council from March 22, 2010.'

Jos Stelling has been invited to be a member of  the international jury of the film competition programme of the 20th MEDIAWAVE -  "ANOTHER CONNECTION" International Film &  Music Festival, which will be held between 30 April and 8 May 2010 in Szombathely, Hungary.

From 22 - 28 March 2010 Jos Stelling will give a Master class / workshop in Armenia. He was invited by the International Film Festival Golden Apricot. Students of the Armenian film school will make a film with 'Love & the city of Yerevan' as a theme, supervised by Jos Stelling.

On the 7th of november Jos Stelling received an award for his entire oeuvre at the SCENECS Film Festival in Amersfoort. The filmmaker received his award for his contribution to Dutch cinema.
