The Mayor of Utrecht, Mr. A. Wolfsen, has awarded Jos Stelling with the Silver Medallist of the City of Utrecht on the 6th of September 2010. This prestigious honour was granted on the occasion of Stelling's 50 year anniversary in film and his 65th birthday (the 16th of July).

Jos Stelling's significant contribution to both the cultural developments in Utrecht and the international image of Utrecht as a 'film city', has motivated the district council to give him this honour.
